My vision of future!!!

I totally agree with those statements:
Vision without action is just a dream.
Action without vision merely wastes time.
Vision coupled with action can make things happen!
I bet everyone have dream about their futures, however, in order to reach the goal, they should apply with actions. Back to my case, my vision of future is simple. I will have my own accounting firm with more than 200 employees, to success that dream, i should work hard to save up enough money, or i should find some partners. moreover, i dream that i will have travle all over the world, to do so, i should first stablize my company and maybe learn some new language. finally, i will have a wonderful family, rich, peace, happy....to do that seems easy, but it's opposite, therefore, i think i will spend more time with my family ,instead of friends....
I dream big, therefore, i work harder...

Decision Making

First of all, I need to thanks the professor, he gives us not only a favor, but a chance as well as a confident. Also, i think he is smart because he used that opportunity to teach us another lecture.
Ok, back to our topic, according to the slide, labeled “How People Handle Conflict.”, i think i personally used the fourth way, Accommodation which is Seeing issue as more important to others than self, I think the class discussion is not only about individual, you have right to disagree and point out your own feeling, however, when you come to decision making, you need to think as a whole class. People seem to be over-controlled, that didnot help at all and will cause problems. I think the best way to make a decision is the third way, Compromise
which is used with decision making under pressure; all members are equal. I agree that everybody should have equal right to express themselves and others should respect all different kinds of opinions, however, the final decision might not satisfy all in the class. Anyhow, we got a happy ending, and people, we need to try better...don't forget that is a chance not only an advantage...

The evaluatation about my group’s planning process

I like the way professor teaches the lecture--do some class activities and learn from them. That is way better than a boring lecture and we actually understand the materials. I really learn something from the "An Eggs-cellent Way to Plan" activities. I think my group went through the Step 1. Define your goals and objectives, Step 2. Determine your resources and current status vis-รก-vis objectives , Step 3. Develop several alternative strategies, but not Step 4. Make a tactical plan and Step 5. Implement the plan and evaluate results. We all understood the goal, and had our own ideas, however, i think we did not really agree with each other. Therefore, they just try to do their own way. I don't mean that it fails the task, however, i think the meaning of group project is group's power, we should try to understand each other and fill out the best way to finish the work. It is important to reach the goal, but i think the more important is to learn from the experience. Anyway, thanks all the group memebers....getting better, we are all learning....

My biggest management problem---time

As i mention before, i am a full time student at Baruch, meanwhile,i have to help out at my father's restaurant every week. Therefore, i need to face a big problem--time. Time is the most important thing to me, i feel like i do not have enough time to manage my life--school, work and social life. I must balance all of three, otherwise, they will all fail. For examples, if i spend too much time on school, then my father's restaurant won't function well. If i work too hard in the restaurant, then i won't have enough energy to prepare my tests. If i spend all my time on school and work, then i won't have any friend. It is so important that i manage my time perfectly because i can't give up any one of three. I know that is hard, however, i need to face and solve the problem. I truely believe i will be a wonderful manager.
